VISIT OF AMBASSADOR SORIN DUCARU IN LOS ANGELES ( JUNE 26TH , 2005 )

On June 26th, 2005, the Ambassador of Romania to Washington D.C. Sorin Ducaru participated in an open dialogue organized by the Viitorul Roman Society in Los Angeles, California. The discussions included an update on US-Romania strategic partnership, Romania’s integration in the EU and the recent developments in Romania’s domestic policy and they were followed by a Q and A session.

The participants in the event had the occasion to enjoy the Romanian traditional music in the interpretation of the renowned Romanian folk music singer, and a special art exhibit of traditional religious painting on wood, glass and aquarelles, by Romanian artist Ioana Maria Deac.
